Spotxel® 1.5 with advanced auto-alignment function is released

25 Apr 2016 – Spotxel® 1.5 significantly improves auto-alignment with support of rotated microarray images and positional controls.

Even though the array alignment of Spotxel® of previous version already outperformed that of a market leader software product, the new version 1.5 advances this function to the next level, allowing the software to precisely align much more difficult microarrays.

Specifically, the array alignment can now detect and process rotated microarray images, tolerate the offsets of printed blocks better than the previous version, and employ controls as “positional markers”. Furthermore, the user can configure these alignment parameters for use in both manual and automation modes.
