PepSlide® Analyzer Version 1.3

SICASYS GmbH is pleased to release PepSlide® Analyzer version 1.3. PepSlide® Analyzer (PSA) software specializes in analysis of peptide microarrays and peptide libraries. It supports quantification of microarray data and analysis of peptide libraries. Starting from version 1.3, the user is able to discover useful information from datasets with PSA statistical data mining tools:

• K-Means Clustering: Group data with similarity into clusters.
• Principal Component Analysis: Reduce the dimension of the dataset and identify new influential variables.
• Hierarchical Clustering: Identify similarity between features and/or samples.

In addition, the new version of PSA supports peptide library analysis for array files of GAL format, and includes many improvements.

Statistical data mining tools gather data and discover useful information from datasets. Therefore, they are very useful for analyzing large peptide libraries or datasets compiled from many experiments. K-means Clustering, Hierarchical Clustering, and Principal Component Analysis are the first data mining tools supported by PSA. Depending on practical applications, more data mining tools will be added and customized to analysis of peptide libraries.
